It seems that the worst kept secret in Spooks history is finally confirmed, albeit by its star performer, Peter Firth aka Sir Harry Pearce, rather than the production company. Spooks, the film, is to begin filming this Autumn.
During Peter’s interview with ‘This Is Grimsby’, he says…
“The TV series of Spooks has stopped filming now – everything has to come to an end… but I am preparing for a Spooks film in the autumn.
“I am looking forward to it and it will be on a much bigger scale.
“I enjoy playing Harry – it has been a lot of fun and it’s always good to play a hero with a dark side. He is not like myself, he is much cleverer than me.”
